WE LOVE LOCAL

Delicious Food All Day Long …

Have you tried our breakfasts?

There’s something quietly special about starting the day in a pub.

Before the lunchtime buzz and evening chatter arrive, the pub takes on a different character entirely. Calm, welcoming, and unhurried. Morning light through the windows, the smell of fresh coffee in the air, and that lovely feeling of having the day ahead of you.

Going out for breakfast is one of life’s simplest pleasures. It’s a reason to get up, get out, and begin the day well. Whether you’re meeting friends, catching up with family, or simply taking an hour for yourself, breakfast sets the tone for everything that follows.

Our breakfasts are always freshly prepared, with plenty of choice to suit whatever kind of morning you’re having. From comforting classics to lighter, healthier options, there’s something for everyone. A proper coffee, a relaxed atmosphere, and good food served without rush.

It’s also one of the easiest ways to gather people together. No late-night bookings, no squeezing around busy dinner tables — just a relaxed start to the day where conversation comes easily and plans can unfold naturally.

And perhaps the best part? The tranquillity. A pub in the morning feels almost like a hidden secret. Fewer crowds, a slower pace, and a moment to enjoy your surroundings before the world speeds up again.

So whether you’re heading out for a walk, starting a busy day, or simply looking for an excuse to treat yourself, breakfast at a Freespirit Pub is always a good idea.

After all, who doesn’t like going out for breakfast?

Meet the Chef: Sunny at The Coach House

If you’re searching for one of the best places to eat in Northamptonshire, there’s a new face in the kitchen at The Coach House.

Sunny has recently joined the team at The Coach House, bringing passion, creativity, and exciting new flavours to the menu.

Sunny’s love for cooking began at home, inspired by his grandparents and mother, who he describes as incredible cooks. Watching them cook from a young age sparked his passion for food and hospitality.

What attracted Sunny to The Coach House was its rich history, welcoming atmosphere, and the opportunity to work with Freespirit Pubs. Known for quality food and warm hospitality, The Coach House continues to grow as a popular destination for pub dining in Northamptonshire.

Rather than focusing on one signature dish, Sunny believes every meal should be cooked from the heart. He is especially interested in the science behind cooking and how spices and flavours work together to create memorable dishes.

For Sunny, the best part of being a chef is making people happy through food. He believes guests eat with their eyes first, and every plate should deliver its own distinct flavour and experience.

As he begins his journey at The Coach House, Sunny is looking forward to introducing fresh ideas, seasonal dishes, and putting his own stamp on the menu.

Whether you’re looking for relaxed dining, quality pub food, or one of the best pubs to eat in Northamptonshire, Sunny and the team at The Coach House look forward to welcoming you soon.
