Looking to kick those post-Christmas blues? Well, it’s all here – the delicious food, the long lie in, and the leisurely breakfast – what more could you want from a night away?
As the festive season draws to a close, there’s something special about the months of January & February. The crowds are long gone from the festive season, meaning you can escape to quaint villages with less traffic and less queues – this might be the country’s best kept secret! And of course, there will be log fires waiting to warm you up after a day of exploration.
Available from 1st January to 28th February with the exception of Sundays as well as Friday 12th and Saturday 13th February.

Our guest rooms are comfy, bright and airy – perfect for professionals or couples, plus some spacious family options.
The pub offers single, double and family rooms – some of which offer additional space for a travel cot if required. Eleven of our fifteen bedrooms are situated in an external guest house completely separate from the Inn, whilst there are four guest rooms situated above the pub itself. Please note that our pub rooms are currently having a glow up, so are currently unavailable to book. Some of our rooms offer a little more space than others as well as differing bed sizes, both of which are reflected in the room rates.

Booking
We can take requests for a particular room and will always try our best to accommodate your request however, please note that we cannot guarantee specific rooms to guests. All rooms are fitted with en-suite bathrooms and double beds as such, we feel confident that all our rooms will offer a similar experience.
Payment
All room reservations will need be settled the morning on the day of your arrival using the card details provided.

Dogs
Well-Behaved dogs are permitted in certain dog-friendly rooms (but not on our beds). Owners are required to bring their own dog bedding. There is an additional cleaning charge of £20 per night, so please let us know when you are making the booking.
Cancellation Policy
Rooms cancelled less than 48 hours prior to midday on the arrival date will not be entitled to a refund. Please note that by making a booking, you are agreeing to these terms. Rooms cancelled prior to this cancellation period are entitled to a full refund.
Accessibility
We do have six ground floor bedrooms, but not all are wheelchair friendly. For more information, please contact the team directly.
Supper
Dinner times can get extremely busy, so please be sure to book a table if you would like to join us for an evening meal on the night of your stay. Restaurant hours are 6pm – 9pm.
Breakfast
Breakfast is offered 7am – 9am Monday to Friday and 8:30am – 10am on Saturday and Sunday. Please note that room rates are room only and NOT inclusive of breakfast.
Damage
We reserve the right to charge any guests for damage to the rooms or property.
For larger bookings, special events, packages and at certain times, our booking terms and conditions may differ. You will be notified of this at the reservation stage if this is the case. For bookings over 5 nights, we will require a 25% non refundable deposit.
